Your Arrival and Access

ARRIVAL – Please notify us to let us know of any concerns with the unit, but more importantly, to let us know you arrived safely. Unit #301 is the first unit located in the first building on the on the right side as you enter the driveway - an assigned covered parking space is labeled UNIT #301. The ski resort can be accessed via a free bus and/or a short walk. The bus stop located directly in front of the Sunrise Condominium Complex on Après Ski Way. You can also get to the base of the resort by walking past the hot tub, down the hill towards the gondola, and down to the base area (total of approximately 400 yards to the gondola entrance). ACCESS – Enter your unique 4 digit code to open entry door lock. Push the lock key as you are leaving unit. Time Controlled Entry Door Lock - Note: for your security, unique door codes are randomly assigned for each booking and will only work between the exact check-in date/time and check-out date/time, unless prior arrangements have been made. Parking

For those arriving by vehicle, there are 2 parking spaces available / 1 Covered Car Port Parking Space and 1 Uncovered Guest Parking Space – The Covered Car Port is located at the first spot under the first building on the right (Building 3) as you enter the parking lot. Uncovered Guest Parking is any uncovered parking space available in the parking lot. Please utilize the Parking Tags located in the condo and place tag on the dashboard or rearview mirror of the vehicle(s).

Walk To Gondola

Walk to Gondola – The mountain is very accessible from the condo. Our condo is roughly 400 yards from the base of the Gondola. Simply walk past the hot tub on the far end of the parking lot and proceed through the parking lot and down the road as you walk directly toward the Gondola. Once you are almost under the Gondola (there should be a short trail), you can walk, ski, or board directly down to the Gondola entrance (approximately 50 yards). There is also a free shuttle at the bus stop in front of the condo complex with just one stop before the drop off at the mountain.

Wood Fireplace

Wood Fireplace Instructions: 1. Pull out “lever” in lower right corner on wood burning fireplace insert. 2. Unlock and open fireplace door and insert firewood and/or starter logs. 3. Ignite firewood and/or starter logs. 4. Shut and lock down fireplace door. 5. If you want to turn on the fan/blower, turn on switch located on wall on right side of the fireplace. Note: Firewood and starter logs are not provided by owner. Firewood and starter logs are available at Walmart, City Market, Safeway and various other businesses throughout Steamboat Springs. Any unused wood should be stored in fireplace container or on the outside deck. Also, in accordance with the Steamboat Cowboy Honor System, if there is wood in the basket, feel free to use it, we just ask that you replace the firewood before you leave. :) Thank you for your cooperation.

Hot Tub

The Hot Tub Key will be hanging on one of the coat racks next to the front door. The Hot Tub is located at the end of the parking lot. At night, you may need a flashlight due to minimal lighting in the hot tub area (low lighting provides a better “under the stars” hot tub experience). You can find Hot Tub towels in the condo bedroom closet.

Ski Locker

Storage of Skis – Please store all skis and boards in ski locker located in front of carport on the first floor. Ski Locker Key should be hanging on coat rack next to owners closet in living room.

Places To See Year Round

Dubbed “Ski Town U.S.A.”, Steamboat Springs is a world-class winter ski destination as well as an authentic western ranching town. Steamboat Springs is more down home than a glitzy vacation getaway. Cowboy hats and ski boots are equally welcome on the city's friendly streets. Steamboat Springs will always remain a premiere slopes destination and the place where downhill skiing first flourished in the United States. However, the town also offers a wide range of outdoor recreation for every season of the year, with an ample supply of spring, summer, and fall activities to choose from as well! And after a long day skiing, boarding, hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, schussing or shopping, you can relax in one of the many natural hot springs and enjoy the soothing side of mother nature. Some of the top activities include: • World-class downhill skiing and boarding with an additional five Nordic ski centers that are located within 30 minutes from downtown. • Other winter activities include snowmobiling, ice skating, snow tubing, sleigh rides and dog sledding. • The Howelsen Ice Arena, a fully enclosed Olympic-size rink offers figure skating, public skating and hockey. • During the summer months, outdoor enthusiasts can choose from hiking, biking, golfing, horseback riding, tubing, kayaking, and fishing. • Other summer activities include the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series which takes place every Friday and Saturday (during the mid-June to mid-August timeframe), and Hot Air Balloon rides with a Balloon Festival/Yampa Valley Balloon Rodeo in the summer (during late July timeframe). • Visit the Tread of Pioneers Museum and learn more about the fascinating history about the Yampa Valley and Steamboat Springs. • Visit nearby Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest and Steamboat Lake State Park to totally immerse in the fantastic, high-energy, outdoor lifestyle of the Steamboat Springs area. • Other great family-oriented attractions include Fish Creek Falls, featuring a waterfall view and hiking trails; Yampa River Botanic Park, where over 40 gardens are the draw; and Saddleback Ranch, an 8,000 acre working cattle ranch where wagon/horseback dinner rides are a popular family activity. • No visit to the area is complete without a visit to some hot springs. Haymaker Golf Course https://www.haymakergolf.com/ Located in the lush Yampa Valley Region of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Haymaker Golf Course is a Championship Golf Course Gem. Snow-capped Mount Werner frames many of the holes, while the spectacular Flat Top Mountain Range serves as a picturesque backdrop. As your day begins, directly ahead of you is a challenging links-style course with native grasses and wetlands to enhance the wide open fairways. Created out of vast ranch-land and rock piles, this Keith Foster design is home to where many elk, eagles, and blue herons roam. Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course https://www.rollingstoneranchgolf.com/ Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort features one of the best golf courses in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. When you leave

Important Checklist: • Close all windows, switch off all lights, turn off all appliances , lock patio door, and pull down the curtains. • During heating periods: There are 4 heating thermostats located in the front room, kitchen, laundry room, and bedroom. Please remember to dial these down to around 55 degrees when you leave. • Please turn on dishwasher and run disposal. Make sure to take all the food and drinks you brought with you and please leave the plates, cups etc. in the dishwasher or clean in the cupboards. • Place dirty towels and guest sheets (if used), in the laundry basket located in master closet, and leave clean ones hanging. • Please remember to return the parking tags, hot tub key, ski locker key, and hang them on one of the coat racks next to the front door. • Please place any garbage in dumpster located toward the front of the parking lot. If for some reason the dumpster is full or lid cannot be opened, then place garbage inside the condo by the front entrance door. Just trying to avoid the animals (bears) and birds (magpies) from getting into it and making a mess. • Lock front door by pushing the lock key on keypad. • In case of damage: If you damage anything in the condo please let us know so we can better understand the extent of the damage and try to fix the issue before the next booking. • Please notify us at departure at hello@steamboatsunrisecondo.com.
